WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WE DIAGNOSE ENVIRONMENTS
INSTEAD OF INDIVIDUALS?
Digital Land Acknowledgement
Since our activities are shared digitally to the internet, let us take a moment to consider the legacy of colonization embedded within the technology, structures, and ways of thinking we use every day. We are using equipment and high-speed internet, not available in many Indigenous communities. Even the technologies that are central to much of the art we make, leaves significant carbon footprints, contributing to changing climates that disproportionately affect Indigenous people worldwide. We invite you to join us in acknowledging all this, as well as our shared responsibility to make good of this time and for each of us to consider our roles in reconciliation, decolonization, and ally-ship.
Gratitude & credit to Adrienne Wong for the above statement.
co-creating healing spaces
liberatory + anti-oppressive + playful + focusing + holistic + honest + existential (how do you make meaning?) + phenomenological (what do you notice?) + music + rhythm + deep-listening talk = transformation
I specialize in helping Disabled/LGBTQ+ individuals. My work focuses on using rituals to build self-esteem, curiosity, and creativity (aka adult play!)
When do your relationships flourish?
Happiness isn’t so much the goal as vitality. Who helps breathe life into your being?
Let’s hear it for Critical Good Faith, or respect for evidence and accountability in the social world, a world of intersubjective relations (Gordon & Cornell, 2015).

Motivated by non-hierarchical, anti-oppressive actions, lets uncover ways to resonate relationships of nurturing support. How can we create systems of genuine care?
individual attention /
collective action
How do your unique intersections of identity + meaning inform your perception? How do you move within your original joy + being?
How do you connect with others? How can we use our strengths/vulnerabilities to join in community?
life long learning
When do we stop being precious? To me…never! By respecting areas for growth + genuine passions we can build a brave + caring therapeutic frame.
what folks are saying…
“Daisy proceeds into their behavioral + healing work with unbridled, passionate humanism. They bear witness to a client’s pain + put in the interpersonal effort not only to help mitigate their clients’ challenges, but to help build a deeper understanding about those challenges. Daisy is dedicated to diligence, consistency + humility in the face of human complexity.”
― Sam Noble, CBT and LMHC in progress
“Daisy helped me learn to stand up for myself which makes it easier to learn”
― High school student + former client
“I’ve observed Daisy work tirelessly to be a support + advocate, not just for their clients, but the larger community as well. Daisy consistently goes above and beyond to ensure student needs are met + communicates with all teams to ensure consistency. When working with difficult and often escalated situations, Daisy has continually shown to be an outstanding behavioral therapist– one who takes all factors, including behavioral, academic, and institutional into consideration for their approach…working alongside Daisy, it has been abundantly clear that they not only strive to do excellent work, but that they also care deeply about the well-being of the students and their future successes.”
― Jillian Timmerman, High School Math Teacher
